Dr. Briana Bronstein Ph.D.

Dr. Briana Bronstein is a Special Education Consultant with Sereni Law Group, where she works with school districts and attorneys to navigate the complexities of special education law and practice. She brings more than a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, university professor, consultant, and researcher, with expertise in IEP and 504 plan development, behavior intervention planning, compliance monitoring, and evidence-based instructional practices.

Dr. Bronstein began her career as an autistic support teacher, which continues to shape her commitment to equity and inclusion in education. Since then, she has provided wide-ranging support to schools, teachers, and paraprofessionals in many capacities—including classroom consultation, individualized coaching, and the design and delivery of professional development workshops both in person and virtually. She has worked at the national level on projects to improve services for students with disabilities and regularly partners with schools and organizations to strengthen inclusive practices and support systems.

She earned her Ph.D. in Special Education from Temple University, where she also completed a Post-Graduate Certification in Teaching in Higher Education. She holds an M.A. in Autism and Special Education and a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education, both from La Salle University. In addition, she is certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (Florida Institute of Technology) and holds Pennsylvania Instructional I teaching certifications in Elementary Education (Pre-K–4), Physically and Mentally Handicapped (PK–8), and an Autism Endorsement.

Currently, Dr. Bronstein serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Special Education at a local university, where she directs programs in teacher preparation and community-engaged education. She is also an accomplished scholar, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, national and state conference presentations, and service on editorial boards. She has been awarded multiple competitive grants as Principal Investigator and Co-PI, advancing research and practice in teacher preparation, autism, paraprofessional training, and safety skills for adults with autism.

Dr. Bronstein holds leadership positions at both the state and national levels, including with the Council for Exceptional Children and the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. Across all of her roles, she is dedicated to empowering families, equipping educators, and ensuring equitable access to high-quality education for all learners.
